Exchange Club of Irvine Events

Community Service is the lifeline of the Exchange. Exchange Clubs across the country spend countless hours and dollars improving their communities each year. The Community Service Programs of The Exchange Club of Irvine consist of the following events: 

November 15, 2018

37th Annual Prayer Breakfast

Julie Hill was inspired to take action when she visited
Human Options and saw that they were in dire need of new
shelter facilities.

She organized a coalition of contractors, government officials, and community leaders, who together created an award-winning shelter in Orange County. “I am in awe when I think about what we can accomplish when we work together.

Building this shelter brought out the best in everyone who participated, and indeed was The House That Love Built.

March 7th, 2019

48th Annual Irvine Police Department Awards Banquet

On March 7, 2019, The Exchange Club of Irvine hosted the 48th Annual Police Awards Banquet in honor of our incredible Irvine Police Department. Thank you to over 500 local community members and business owners who attended and supported this event. Each year this is one of the most inspiring events in OC honoring police officers for making Irvine one of the best places in the US to live and work and one of the safest cities in America for the last 14 years. This is definitely an event you won’t want to miss in 2020!

30th Annual Child Abuse Prevention & Treatment Conference

The 30th Annual Child Abuse Prevention & Treatment Conference hosted by the The Raise Foundation, is being held on March 7th and 8th, 2018 at the UCI Student Center. The second day of the conference is planned for parents, relatives, and caregivers of children, as well as the general community.

10th Annual Orange County Fire Authority Best & Bravest Awards Dinner

The 10th Annual Orange County Fire Authority Best & Bravest Awards Dinner was a huge success again this year! Over 500 firefighters, first-responders, administrative staff, family, friends, honored guests and Irvine police were there to celebrate our fire authority here in Orange County. Awards were distributed for many different categories. Videos shared the devastating Canyon fire and the heroics of our Orange County firefighters saving homes and lives. It is always an honor to formally say "thank you" to those who protect our homes and lives.

32nd Annual Excellence in Teaching Awards Banquet

Forty-one Irvine Unified School District teachers were selected by their peers to be honored as representatives of their schools and educational programs.  More than 700 community members were in attendance to show their appreciation of the important job teachers have in molding our future leaders.
